Ratan Tata said this while speaking at the event where Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated seven state-of-the-art cancer centres and lay the foundation stone for seven more.

The rally took place during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Dibrugarh, when he inaugurated seven cancer hospitals and laid the groundwork for another seven.

The Assam Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF), a collaboration between the Assam government and Tata Trusts for the establishment of cancer care facilities in the state, is constructing the cancer hospitals.

Modi had tweeted: “In the Dibrugarh programme, 7 cancer hospitals across Assam will be inaugurated and the foundation stone for 7 more cancer hospitals will be laid. Such upgradation of healthcare facilities across Assam is unprecedented and will help the people tremendously.”
